About the Founder: Dr. Jit B. Baral

Dr. Jit Bahadur Baral is a dedicated scientist and author whose life mission was forged through the fire of personal loss. Following the heartbreaking journey of parental grief, he established Seeds of Hope and Survival, a Woodland-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Dr. Baral combines his professional analytical background with a deeply compassionate approach to support schools, churches, and grieving families. By transforming his own sorrow into advocacy, he provides essential mental health education for youth and a vital support network for parents navigating their darkest moments.
